Norman Employees Celebrate Office Opening
September 2009
The PBS&J Oklahoma Team celebrated the opening of their new office in Norman with an open house event on August 6. More than 75 clients and friends attended to tour the office and share hors d’oeuvres and other refreshments. Attendees included clients from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, City of Norman, and Chesapeake Energy. Additional attendees included representatives from Terracon Consultants, Vieux & Associates, Benham, CMS Willowbrook, Red Rock Consulting, and the University of Oklahoma.
Well wishers from PBS&J’s Austin and Dallas offices also stopped by to join in the celebration, including Duke Altman, Kim Brooks, Tip Goodwin, Mark Isaak, Keith Jackson, Clay Russell, and Jim Srubar. PBS&J’s Norman Office Leader Jim Hunt, PE, CCM, is looking forward to a bright future in the Sooner state. “We couldn’t ask for better clients, or for a better community to call home,” says Hunt.
The Norman office is currently supporting ODOT with environmental, NEPA, and transportation engineering services, and was recently awarded a contract to provide as-needed construction management services to ODOT. Other projects include providing engineering services to the City of Norman for a bridge replacement project, as well as supporting a new contract with the Chickasaw Nation.
